It’s time to talk about the things we actually deal with.

Welcome to Guyset
The place for guys in their 20s who are figuring it out in real time.
Guyset didn’t start with a brand plan or a viral idea. It started with a feeling I couldn’t shake.
I kept noticing that most content for guys in their 20s felt off. Either it was all highlight reels and hustle talk, or it was advice from people acting like they had everything figured out. None of it sounded like the actual conversations my friends and I were having.
“I wanted to make something that feels like a conversation, not advice from a guy who thinks he has it all figured out.”
That’s still the point.
Guyset is built for the in-between stage. The part of life where you’re confident one day and completely unsure the next. Where you want more out of dating, work, and life, but don’t always know how to get there.
You can be ambitious and confused at the same time.
You can be confident and still feel lost.
You can be doing “well” and still feel like something’s missing.
That’s the space Guyset lives in.
Why I Started This
I didn’t start Guyset because I had answers. I started it because I had questions I couldn’t find honest conversations about.
“I think a lot of guys go through things they don’t always talk about.”
Dating anxiety. Confidence dips. Friendship shifts. Feeling behind. Feeling pressure to have it all figured out before you actually do.
That feeling comes up constantly in How to Know When It’s Time to Bet on Yourself, because uncertainty doesn’t mean you’re failing. It usually means you’re growing.
Most guys experience this quietly. Guyset is about bringing those conversations into the open without pretending they’re solved.
“It’s not about pretending to have the answers. It’s about having the conversations most guys avoid.”
No scripts.
No fake confidence.
No performative self-help.
Just real experiences, real lessons, and real conversations.
What Guyset Is (And Isn’t)
Guyset isn’t therapy.
It isn’t a rulebook.
It isn’t a highlight reel.
It’s a digital guide and podcast built around lived experience. Episodes and articles cover dating, confidence, friendships, lifestyle, career pressure, and the moments that don’t make it onto Instagram.
The awkward ones.
The confusing ones.
The small wins no one celebrates.
If your brain tends to spiral late at night, How To Stop Overthinking Everything usually hits close to home.
And if confidence feels like something everyone else figured out early, How To Act Confident When You Don’t Feel It breaks down why that feeling is more common than you think.
Some episodes will make you think.
Some will make you laugh.
Some will hit a little too close to home.
“If even one person hears something and feels less alone, that’s the goal.”
Why This Matters More Than Guys Admit
A lot of men feel behind even when they’re objectively doing fine.
Research from the American Psychological Association shows that men are significantly less likely to talk openly about stress, self-doubt, and emotional uncertainty, even though they experience it just as often. Silence doesn’t mean confidence. It usually means isolation.
Guyset exists to close that gap. Not by fixing anyone. But by making space for conversations that don’t usually happen out loud.
What You’ll Find Here
• Honest conversations about dating and confidence
• Stories about growth without pretending it’s linear
• Perspective from guys living it, not preaching it
• A reminder that you’re not behind just because you don’t have it all figured out yet
This isn’t about becoming someone else. It’s about understanding yourself better as you grow.
What is Guyset?
Guyset is a digital guide and podcast for guys in their 20s navigating dating, confidence, lifestyle, and personal growth. It’s built around real conversations, not perfect advice or fake expertise.
Who is Guyset for?
Guyset is for guys who are trying to figure things out without pretending they already have. If you’re confident sometimes, confused other times, and somewhere in between most days, this is for you.
Is Guyset a dating podcast?
Dating is part of it, but not all of it. Guyset covers dating, confidence, friendships, mindset, lifestyle, and the pressure of your 20s. It’s about how all of those things overlap in real life.
Does Guyset give step-by-step advice?
Not in a checklist way. Guyset focuses on perspective, self-awareness, and real experiences. The goal isn’t to tell you exactly what to do, but to help you think more clearly about what actually feels right for you.
Who runs Guyset?
Guyset is hosted by Josh Felgoise, who started it while navigating his own 20s. He doesn’t claim to have everything figured out. The platform is built around learning in real time, not preaching from the finish line.
Is Guyset only for men in their 20s?
That’s the core audience, but anyone who relates to the topics is welcome. A lot of listeners and readers are in their late 20s, early 30s, or just in a similar life stage.
What makes Guyset different from other podcasts or blogs?
Guyset isn’t about hustle culture, fake confidence, or pretending life is clean and linear. It’s honest, conversational, and focused on the moments guys usually don’t talk about out loud.
Where should I start?
Start with any episode or article that sounds like something you’ve already Googled in your head. There’s no order. If it hits, you’re in the right place.
Notes from Josh
Guyset is still becoming what it’s meant to be. Just like the people reading it.
If something here resonates, share it with someone who’d get it. That’s how this grows. Not through perfection, but through real conversations.
You’re not late.
You’re not broken.
You’re just in it.
And so am I.
— Josh
