Welcome to the Next Generation of Advice
Guys are taught from a young age that sharing emotions, worries, anxieties, and feelings isn't manly or cool. But here's the thing: thinking those thoughts doesn't change them. Pushing those feelings down doesn't make them go away.
No website, podcast, magazine, or place was giving real, authentic advice tailored to guys in their 20s and younger. No one was doing it, so I thought—why not me?
Why Guyset Exists
The core of this platform is that guys don't know where to find answers, advice, or recommendations to the questions, anxieties, or worries they have. What I also realized is that guys don't have an outlet to share or talk about how they're feeling or what they're thinking on a regular basis.
When I first thought of this idea in the summer of my junior year of college, it was my first time going out to a bar and I had no idea what to wear. I looked everywhere online for advice and couldn't find a place that had an answer to that question alongside everything else I was wondering while living on my own for the first time.
The questions we're all asking:
What do I do about this razor burn on my neck?
Where should I go on a first date? What should I wear?
What should I text that girl? Should I double text her?
How do I ask for a raise?
How do I stop feeling so anxious?
Why do I feel like I'm not good enough?
How do I stop comparing myself to my friends?
How do I feel more confident?
